Officejet Pro 9010
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a Officejet Pro and use the function Scan to Computer. Normally the function is working well. But sometimes the printer and computer ( HP Elitebook 2570p with windows 10) connection isn't established. It often  happens after the computer is wken up form hypernate or energy save status. The the status message of "Scan to Computer" is on alert and showing the message "Scan to Computer not possible". The icon with red alert sign is shown in the information area of the task bar.    Unfortunately it happens not eyery time after rewake the computer.  "ScantoPCActivationApp" is running in the background (checked in Taskmanager).

It seems that the printer is offline but the printer is online e.g. printing is possible.

There are only two ways to solve this status, if the ScanToPCActivationApp is once in error modus:

1) reboot the computer

2) Deactivation of the Scan to Computer process by open the window Scan to Computer and press on "Deactivate" button.

Run HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 series.exe, select menue "Scan" and the  Function "Scan to Computer Administration". Then Press the button "Activate" and the function is available and working again.

But why this aork around is necessary?
I assume if anytime the ScanToPCActivationApp cannot create the connection to the Printer the process/application is going in an error mode and never is trying to reestablish the connection.
Is there any solution e. g. by an update of the software to solve this issue?
