Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Dear HP,

I set up the scan to email service on my HP Laserjet 400 MFP last year and have been using this option just fine until last week as I constantly got this error message "Username or Password is incorrect. Ensure both user account and password are valid" when trying to scan a document to an email. I have been trying the following steps but it could not help, so please advise other solution.

1: I used my Gmail profile to set up outgoing e-mail profile and I'm still able to log in to that Gmail inbox using the password so I'm sure the username and password are absolutely accurate.

2: I also tried to create another Gmail account to be used as an outgoing e-mail profile but the problem still persists.

3: Tried to delete the outgoing e-mail profile and recreate but it did not help.

4: Tried to change the SMTP servers and SMTP Ports as well as the SMTP Server settings but it did not help either

5: Tried to change the SMTP authentication (user ID and password) multiple times but had no luck.

Thanks in advance.
