HP Recommended
4650
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an old scanner, printer combo machine, the 4650. It's a terrible printer by todays standards, but I do use it still for scanning occasionally.

I've just had to go through a silly amount of deleting old software, installing new, and THEN having to tell HP my personal mobile and email, just to get a scan.

Why on this earth is this required? I don't want access to all your online (generally not helpful) support, and I don't want you amassing my personal info for your own ill gotten marketing gains, only to be hacked and lose it all. Just a shame that companies think that online communities can replace dedicated support and that personal info is the next generations money generator. Just make a product that works, why do you need my mobile number? Your products are generally alright, IT'S ALL THE SOFTWATE UPDATES that make a mess of things.

If the products were good, and not a pain, then maybe people would want to connect further! Stop forcing a more in depth customer experience through back door means, and just focus on EARNING it.

Rant over.
