HP Recommended
Product: HP Scanjet G4050 Scanner
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite

I downloaded and installed the Image capture software  V.2.4.3 for my MAC from the HP site. I installed it and it seems to work fine creating jpg's, tiff's, etc;  What I really need to do is scan a text doc and be able to edit it in MS Word. Should I be able to do OCR with this software? or do I need additional software to scan to an RTF file? Thank you for your response
