I am now out of warranty, of course, but I have had multiple issues with this printer all in one since I bought it. All I want to do is scan something. Since it seems unable to scan both sides of a document I just use the glass to place my document on to scan. It says scan complete when sent to my email but no scan shows up there. No error message on the scanner itself. I run the worthless HP print and scan doctor 5.4.1 and it says there is a device error detected. There is no solution to this other than verify paper is loaded and and clean document feeder roller. I'm not putting anything through the roller! I am placing it directly on the glass. Over the year before the warranty expired I had to constantly call in to get similar issues fixed. Software related. No hardware issues. It was disconnect from my computer, it wouldn't show up in a scan folder, the IP address had to be changed, yada yada. I just want to scan a simple document and I am going to have to buy a whole new printer to do so since I can't find anyway to get this going. Without a warranty (and even with one it seems) there is no way to reach technical support to find out why it won't work. I spent money on HP printers, two monitors, and a new computer and now I wish I had gone with Apple or another brand.
