Product: HP Officejet Pro 6978
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently had to replace my PC and hooked it up to my HP Officejet Pro 6978.  It is connected to the PC by USB cable an wifi.  While I can print using either USB or wifi, However, when I go to scan, only USB is available, but not wifi.

I have run the Print & Scan Doctor a number of times.  When running this program I select the wifi printer and after a while i get the message do I want to restart the computer.  After answering yes, the computer reboots, and the Scan Doctors resumes with the USB printer and not the wifi Printer.

 

On my old PC, when I went to scan I always had the option to select either the USB or Wifi option.
