Product: Photosmart 6520

I received this printer from my husband (he had never used it) when we moved in together. It is an older model but I do not have the setup cartridges to set up the printer with my computer. I’m not sure if his family used them thinking that they were just replacement cartridges or if they were not in the original box. 

Does anyone have any advice for bypassing the “insert setup cartridges” error on my printer? I need the printer for graduate school and bought all new cartridges, so I would hate to not be able to use it.
