Product: HP Deskjet F2400
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I want to print a document with some graphics on it like a straight line that divides sections, a border around the page, etc. the text gets a lighter "shadow". If the document only has text on it and no additional graphics it prints out just fine. The problem is present when printing both pdf and docx files.

 

I've gone through the troubleshooting steps: clean print heads, align cartridges, install new cartridges, unplug the printer for some time. The last firmware update came out in 2015 so there is no update for this printer.

Nothing so far has worked. I really hope you can help because the printer is otherwise working fine.
