Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Getting shadows when printing pdf and web pages on OfficeJet 4500 G510 g-m. There are gray shadow characters that print slightly offset to the actual character position (usually slightly below).  This started without warning some months ago.  This does not happen with Word or Open Office documents.  Seems like the printer cannot resolve the character formats in pdfs and web pages.  I have aligned the cartridges and cleaned them.  Test pages print fine, so there is no inherent problem with the printing.  I suspect that a new driver needs to be created for this printer model to accommodate format changes in pdfs and web pages.
