M2070FW
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'd like to share a solution to a connectivity problem I had recently.

My Samsung M2070FW suddenly stopped being able to connect to my WiFi network after I installed Open Wrt on my wireless router. It could see the network but it would get stuck in a disconnect>retry loop. I tried messing with DHCP settings, timeouts, security protocols, factory resets... no dice. We continued using the printer over USB, which was a bit of a hassle.

Today it dawned on me that when I flashed the new firmware I also, on a whim, changed the SSID. The new network name included space characters which not all devices can handle. I changed the SSID again, replacing the spaces with a period and an underscore and the printer connected again without a hitch.

Hope this helps someone down the road!

ps this issue has nothing to do with Windows but I can't remove the tag from the post.
