Hi!
I had a HP G4010 scanner on my work, however it does not scan with the real colors. I needed to scan several fabrics and most of them, specially the grey ones, are in a purple or pink tone.
I assumed this happened because it was old and very worn, so I recently acquired an Epson Perfection V600 Photo Scanner, because this one had many good reviews and was said to be one of the best for designers. However, again I scanned with original options and explored many of its color options and I couldn't find a setting that would serve to all fabric colors.
I've then tested with my personal HP F2280, as I had this one for many years and I knew, by testing it against a Canon MG3650, that it scanned with better colors, and the result was equally far better than any other scanners.
I would like to understand why does my HP F2280 scans with more real colors than an HP G4010, a Canon MG3650 and even the great Epson Perfection V600 Photo. What specification this has that the others don't?
The HP F2280 is of my personal property, and I need to buy a proper scanner for the company I work for at least that scans equally or better than my HP, as using my own personal scanner at the company is not a viable solution.
