Product: Envy 4527
Operating System: Android 8.0 Oreo and older

Trying to print from a tablet on android 7 to HP Envy 4527 using the tablet's built-in wifi connection. (There is no other wifi network here). Printer Lcd panel says " Network name :TAB8" , which is the name of the tablet's wifi network.

On the tablet, the "Word" page>Print lists the printer, but says "This printer isn't available right now".

It would be helpful if this message told me why is is not available - the printer is switched on and and is showing the wifi connection. The tablet communicates properly with my smartphone via it's wifi.

How do I make the printer "available"?
