I cannot imagine a client anywhere who would prefer to interface with the printer manufacturer when attempting to simply print a document. WHY on this good Earth would I wish to share my documents with the HP cloud rather than simply via WIFI to the printer that is a short distance from my device?

And to set it up or trouble shoot it--really? I have to connect to HP.com to figure out why the printer will not follow through on a simple, very basic command: "Print"--something that I have been doing seamlessly through countless printers over literally decades WITHOUT the interference of the manufacturer?

That is bad enough, but there are CONSTANTLY problems with this printer/supposedly scanner. It has yet to scan for me--again, NEVER encountered a problem scanning that I couldn't resolve before. It is now printing only black and white though there is nothing in the preferences or print settings, and certainly not in the file source application, that would suggest that I am requesting a black and white document. Previously, getting it to print black and white was more complicated than other printers!

How is this product still on the market?

I have never hated a printer more than this one. I am looking forward to reducing it to parts as I wouldn't dream of inflicting it upon another living soul. Literally, the worst printer and the absolute worst bold-faced attempt to further "monetize" clients that I have ever experienced. I will not buy HP products again.
