HP Scanjet G3110
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

In August 2020, my Lenovo computer was fried by a lightning strike.

It was replaced with a Dell OptiPlex 5040. All files were transferred from the old hard drive to the new computer. Windows 10.

The scanner seems unable to find the place where all scans have been stored in the past. when I click on the scan icon on the screen, ... I get this....

The program could not find any available destinations to which scans can be sent

I have rebooted and rebooted the computer and uninstalled and reinstalled the software from the original HP CD. No luck. that message keeps coming up again and again.
