HP Recommended
Product: HP Deskjet 3050A
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

The printer is the j611, not the j610 (for which I did find answers on a previous thread, but they didn't work for me). I've tried downloading installers from 123HP, Air Print, and they installed but my MacBook still can't find the printer. It shows up in my cue but when I try to link it, it keeps telling me to connect it with a USB cord (it already is) and then refresh.

Also can't seem to select "Printers and Scanners" (or anything else) in my System Preferences -- it appears but greyed out. But I got around that by going through the Library so I don't think that's the main problem.
