Product: HP LaserJet 5P
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a new Computer Precision 3440 Small Form Factor and I am trying to print to an HP laserJet 5P.  It used to be connected to my old Computer an Insperion 3252.  Both computer are running windows 10 Pro.  When the printer was hooked to the old computer via USB.  I could print to it from the new computer via a Shared Printer on the network. 

Now I want to remove my old computer so I need to connect to my new computer via USB.   When I install it on the new computer it recognizes it but when I try to print to it.  It just says error.  When I try to connect it to the new computer via USB, it says USB not connected.  I really use the printer a lot so I would like to keep it.   Anyone got any ideas?
