HP OfficeJet Pro 8720 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I posted this before in a different group and got no response.

Starting yesterday morning, the printer has this very distracting adverting mode. The screen constantly cycles through different features it has and stuff it does and doesn't shut off.

I don't want the printer to do this but just turn off the screen when not in use. It's very, VERY distracting. I don't like it and don't want it.

I have had the printer several years and it never did this before today, so why would they update to turn this stuff on?

I have tried pressing the home button and the back button but it only stops for a few seconds before it starts and flashes it's stuff at me. I can't seem to find a 'turn off ads' setting either.

HOW DO I STOP THESE ADS?
