Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and older

Hello,

We have a number of HP Network printers that we shared via a Windows Server (Shared Printer) and most of them works normally.

However we have 3 HP network printers that are printing normally, when the security principal "Everyone" is present in the Security tab of the print server.

  • HP LaserJet MFP M227fdw
  • HP LaserJet MFP M426fdn
  • HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M176n

The odd thing is, when the security principal "Everyone" is added, the printer is printing normally.

Any idea whats going on? The printer have the latest print drivers from the HP website.

I need to populate the security tab in the printer object because I want to control who has access to the printer.
