HP LaserJet Enterprise MFP M725dn

Hi,

We use HP LaserJet Enterprise MFP M725dn

Firmware Bundle Version: 4.5

Firmware Revision: 2405129_000058

We encountered a problem of PDF file printing using the LPR command. The problem occurs only when we try to print large PDF files (more then 10 Mb). We use the next command to print:

lpr -S 192.168.1.254 -P "HP Universal Printing PS" -o raw "d:\test.pdf"

The results of this command are:

                - files less than 10 Mb are printed without any problems;

                - files more than 10 Mb are not printed. MFP prints only the first page and nothing else while the print job is hanging endlessly in the 'processing' status.

We tried to print such files using LPR command on Windows 7 and Debian Linux with the same result.

Printing from AcrobatReader is always successful no matter how large a PDF file is.

We printed these large PDF files on Xerox 5845 using LPR command without any problems.

What can we do in order to be able to print large PDF files using LPR command on HP LaserJet Enterprise MFP M725dn?
