OfficeJet Pro 8720
Microsoft Windows Server 2016

Hi

My setup is as follows.

Users - Citrix XenDesktop 7.15

Print Server - Windows Server 2016

HP Printers rolled out to sites/users via Group Policy.

My problem is that we have purchased a new OfficeJet Pro 8720 for testing within our environment.

After installing the printer on the print server as a network printer with default driver and applying the correct group policies, our users cannot see the printer.

We started playing around with the drivers and were then able to see the printer;

However

Using Universal print drivers empties the paper tray or prints jargon.

The most stable driver that we have found works is HP Officejet Pro K5400 Series Version 6.1.7600.16385.

However printing can be really slow at times an other times not print at all.

Has anyone encountered similar issues or should i be using a particular driver?

Any guidence would be greatly apprieciated.
