Product: HO Laserjet 1320
Operating System: macOS 10.12 Sierra
Out of nowhere, I got this message when trying to print, using a ethernet network to print from one Mac to another,
'Unable to send data to printer'
Things had been working for years. I tried the usual restarts, changing USB cord, etc.
It turned out the sending computer had spontaneously unchecked the "printer sharing" box in the System Preferences
in the Sharing category.
Once I rechecked that box, everything worked as usual.
