Scanjet N6350
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello,

after Un-Installation of HP Scanjet N6350 Software I'm facing a problem that drives me crazy.

When rebooting the computer, after uninstalling the complete software and drivers, it searches for HP drivers for the scanner (Scanjet N6350) even though it is removed from the network and computer; and uninstalled under Device Manager. All drivers and scan programs have been uninstalled from Control Panel and Software.

So the device itself is removed, the software and drivers are deleted, and still, when I start the computer, it begins to search for drivers for the Scanjet N6350.

If I repeat the whole process again, the HP Scanjet N6350 appears in the Device Manager under "Other Devices" with the yellow warning triangle, not "Machine Vision" as before. By the way I'm using Windows 7, 64-bit.

Can you help me with how to remove / uninstall the HP Scanjet N6350 device from the system? I had called the HP support earlier today, which unfortunately was not very helpful. I do not want to get in details  of this telephone Odyssey.

Anyway, I would be grateful if someone would give me a hint to solve the problem. Thanks in advance.

Greetings,

Roderich
