HP Universal Print Driver 6.9
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We're updating our HP Universal Print Driver from 6.4 to 6.9.   I installed the 6.9 print driver on our test print server and chose the driver that says "HP Universal Printing PCL 6".  When I added the printer from that test print server to my Windows 10 (1803) PC, it installed the driver and the HP Smart Print app.  I did not want the HP Smart Print app to install.  I tried on two more laptops and the HP Smart Print app installed on those as well.   I changed the driver to "HP Universal Printing PCL 6 (v6.9.0)".  I installed the printer on two different PCs and the HP Smart Print app did not install on those laptops.   I changed the printer driver back to the previous driver, removed and re-added the printer on those two laptop and then the HP Smart Print app installed.   We would like to go to use the driver name without the v.6.9.0 label to ease the update process of the print servers but not if it's installing the HP Smart Print app.  Anyone know how to stop the app from getting installed?   Thanks!
