Hi All,

 

Latest firmware always has new features and fixes for the printer.   Here is the steps how to get it for your printer

 

Steps

  1. Ensure printer is powered on, and wirelessly connected (Wireless LED is ON)

 

  1. From your computer (recommended) or phone, open the HP Smart app and double click on Printer image.

  1. Click on the Network information. Note the IP address down.

  1. Launch Internet browser from your computer/phone (Internet explorer, Safari , Chrome…).

Enter the Printer IP Address on the address bar and click enter

  1. Click OK button to continue.

  1. Click ‘Advanced’ button to continue

  1. Click the URL (continue 192.xxx.x,x)

  1. Click Printer Update

  1. Enter the PIN ( found on the printer Cartridges access door) and click submit.

  1. Click Check now button

  1. It would take few mins to download and update your printer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Once Printer updated, it will prompt for PIN. Enter the PIN (found on the printer Cartridges access door) and click submit.

 

 

 

Click OK button

 

 

 

You’ll see the latest Firmware updated and Built Date ise 2021-06-18.

 

 

 

 

Now close the window. And use you printer as usual.

 

If you encounter any issues during firmware update or while using printer (print, scan ..),  help to notify us immediately.

Click on the "Thumbs up"button on the bottom to say "Thanks"
