Product: web jetadmin 10.4

Hello, i have installed the above version onto a clean server 2012 r2 in my domain, i have a internal CA in my lab and the certificate has been deployed to the erbjetwadmin server all ok,

before the cert is installed i can connect remotly on another machone using HTTP, but as soon as i install the Certificate i can no longer connect using HTTPS

if i type in the address using http, the WJA server changes it to http and then displays "page can not be displayed"

two entries get entered into event vwr system log on the server and the client

1, event id 36888 a fatal alert was generated, tls protocol defined a fatal error code is 51, the windows schannel error state is 1106

2, is the same but the end bit instead of 1106 is 802,

 

i have tried different clients, wind server 2008, 2012, windows 7, same issue, leading me to beleiev the server is to balme,]]

if i remove the certificate, and use http, boom it works straight away. this is the fourth cert i have created, ther cert chain is good, the browser on the client contains the root cert, there are not other events like app locker denies that could explain this, is there any thing else i need to setup on my web jet admin server to allow this, i have been through all the manuals with no joy, also checked that the port 8443 is listening using netstat, and googled the hell out of the situation and i am coming close to giving up and changing my profession to Knitting!!

please help
