Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Im at a understanding that depending on the type of dpi printer you have will determine the quality of your prints and the option of what quality you want. So othe more dpi x dpi the hp software will let you choose the type of quality you want.  I have M452dn printer which I thought was a 1200 x 1200 dpi printer.   In quality in the printer settings menu I see ImageREt3600 and when I click on that it only has that as a option for quality. So I left&right click on it and a HP userguide pops up displaying this

ImageREt 2400: Provides 2400 dpi color laser-class print quality.

ImageREt 3600: Provides 3600 dpi color laser-class print qua

ImageREt 4800: Provides 4800 dpi color laser-class print quality.

ProRes 1200: Prints using 1200 x 1200 resolution, prints slower than the other resolutions, but has the best print quality.

and so on.........
However I can either have ImageRet3600 or click on Economode........is it just the printer? I've tried other drivers and updated firmware but never can find what the deciding factor for this I dont remember seeing this asa printer lacking when i read the reviews before I purchased it....
