We got the application error 1000 frequently on the windows server 2012 r2 in the event viewer:

Faulting application name: spoolsv.exe, version: 6.3.9600.17480, time stamp: 0x54585db9
Faulting module name: hpc6r083.dll, version: 0.3.1537.137, time stamp: 0x48ee6a39
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x000000000002026d
Faulting process id: 0x1090
Faulting application start time: 0x01d2eb2cde0e9aef
Faulting application path: C:\Windows\System32\spoolsv.exe
Faulting module path: C:\Windows\system32\spool\DRIVERS\x64\3\hpc6r083.dll

We checked the printers and found the driver is not updated:
Driver Name: PrintQueue.inf
Class Guid: {1ED2BBF9-11F0-4084-B21F-AD83A8E6DCDC}
Driver Date: 06/21/2006
Driver Version: 6.3.9600.16384
Driver Provider: Microsoft
Driver Section: NO_DRV_LOCAL
Driver Rank: 0x1

According to the error message, we suspect it may due to the version of the driver or the hpc6r083.dll file is corrupt. However, since multiple printers (for example, HP Laserjet 3052/5200/P3010/P3015/P2050 and officejet pro 8500 A909g ) are connecting, is there a way to confirm which printer is using hpc6r083.dll file? Any solutions without impact on the working printers?

Thanks in advanced.

regards,

Susie
