HP Recommended
Product: hp 5590 Scanner
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Windows update may have written over a DLL that allows my scanner to communicate with the PC.

The only directions I get are to uninstall and reinstall the scanner software.

My concern was if a straight uninstall was done would it remove all the entries from the windows registry and if not was there an uninstall tool for doing the registry sweep without going to an extreme like registry cleaner or CC cleaner.
