Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

    This is not an HP problem but you have been helpful in the past so I am hoping someone might have some good advice for me.  About six years ago I bought a scanner to view and save 35mm negatives.  It worked reasonably well but then Windows 7 was replaced by Windows 10 at which point I lost the use of the item.  Is there any way I can rectify the existing problem, short of purchasing another expensive film scanner?  )For what it is worth to know,  I use an HP 3630 All-in-one scanner printer for appropriate printing and copying.}

    Frankly, I'm not very hopeful of any useful help here but, just in case, I have to try everything.
