HP Recommended

I have a Deskjet HP 1510 All-in-One Printer, bought it 2 years ago, so it's now past warranty. I have tried all the recommendations to solve the compatibility problem, have been to HP service centre and there's no solution so far. Service Center told me they'd have to send the printer to the head service centre. The cost does not warrant the effort.

So I have a printer, but I cant use it, because there is an unresolved issue about "wrong" cartridge.

Does anyone have advise?
