HP Recommended

Hey all, i'm having some serious issues with my deskjet 3755.  it is in a constant error state.  i literally can not get it to do anything.  i long hold the power it doesn't turn off or restart.  i unplug the cord from the wall and the printer itself and when plugged back in it automatically goes back to the same error state.  its just a big "E" with all of the lights flashing.  i open the cartridge door and nothing happens.  it wants to do absolutely nothing at all.  i have tried everything that has been suggested in other related posts and nothing happens.  PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!
