OfficeJet Pro 6978
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have been done the steps suggested by Jeet_Singh from back in 2017 multiple times since for the last couple of weeks without any success; I have not been able to get the machine to release the ink cartridges nor have I been able to get it to resolve the error code. Additionally every time I reboot the machine it tells me that it was incorrectly shut off the list time it even when proper shut down protocol has been followed. I'm not sure where to go from here on getting the machine fixed. I logged into the HP website and warranty status and purchase date of my printer is incorrect stating it was expired?? 

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
