Product: Hp laserjet pro
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After purchasing HP's first Inkjet printer in the eighties, I have used HP products in my business for more than 30 years. My home office printer suddenly reports Ïndicated cartridge blocked for containing a non-HP chip. Yes the printer is 2 1/2 years of age and as a personal printer had had little use. It appears new HP software doesn't recognise the original HP cartridges. This very disappointing to a HP user of more than 30 years. Are HP toner cartridges perhaps disabled by software after 30 months use? Is there a reasonable explanation who my printer is no longer fit for purpose?
