hp photosmart all in one
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

hi there

if someone can please help, i have a hp photosmart all in one printer, series model number 109n-z i have had it a while and have never had a problem with it, the other day i got a paper jam and after i had removed the paper which i must say was pretty difficult to remove and was stuck hard., after i removed the paper, the printer will not print. IT SAYS PRINT HEAD IS MISSING OR DAMAGED.i have tried several times to remove the inks and remove the print head and clean up the contacts and then replace them, i have also uninstalled the printer and reinstalled it just in case there is a software problem, however nothing works.

i can purchase a print head for only £17-00 and if this fixes the problem i can deal with that, however if this does not work that will just be a waist of money,as the printer owes me nothing and i have had a lot of use from it, i can buy a brand new one hp2722e for less than £50-00. Please any advice or is there anything else that i can do before i make a decision. thankyou.
