I am installing a HP Laserjet 2300dtn on a small network.
The printer is provided with a HP Jetdirect 615N and connected with a UTP cable to a server via a Cisco Switch.
2 client pc's are connected to this server. From these client pc's I need to print.
Printer [personal information removed] with productnumber Q2476A
I've got the printer installed on the server.
I am running into problems when installing the printer on the client pc's.
I am using the HP Universal Print Driver for Windows PCL5 (64-bit) downloaded here:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-laserjet-2300-printer-series/238800
During installation it asks for a .inf file. When selecting the .inf file from the unzipped folder, it says that no usable driver can be found.
I also tried the PCL6 driver, but the same problem occurs.
What am I doing wrong?
