macOS 11.0 Big Sur

Since upgrading my iMac to Big Sur 11.4, I have been unable to print more than an occasional page. Get errors "filter failed," "Unable to add document to print job" or partial page with Postscript errors. The printer works perfectly with our other two Macs using Big Sur 11.2.3 and El Capitan.

Have consulted both HP and Apple Support, and each blames the other. Have removed and reinstalled the printer many times, uninstalled HP software and reinstalled, and reset the printer system. Mac and printer are both up to date on software and firmware.

I tried SchlomiL's solution of installing HP Easy Start instead of HP Smart, but it didn't help.

This is a newer printer (bought last year) and should not be broken by a minor system upgrade, but I can't seem to get any help with the issue. Best guess is the driver needs updating to be compatible with 11.4. Is anyone working on that?
