Hi . Just bought a envy 6234 printer and i tried to setup the printer wifi connection with HP Smart on my smartphone but when that didn't worked i tried the same via the desktop but no luck either. The printer is recognized by the app however when i enter my wifi password of my AP i get the message something is wrong with the password.
In my home i use a router (wifi disabled) to assign the IP addresses and i have an AP from UNIFI Ubiquiti for the wifi.
I have no problem connecting other devices to the AP so i am 100% sure the password is correct (i've even double checked this in the access point configuration) , the mac address filtering is not enabled either.
Eventually i managed to connect the printer via WPS and guess what? it's not connected to the AP but with the WPS of the router as the AP doesn't have WPS.
So i did managed to get the printer working, however i do want to understand why i can't connect the printer with my AP's password . What could be the issue here?
