hi, i had my icc profile on "Bright White Paper" and when printing the attached image it left the background white (no colour printed) as i intended the printer to do, but upon realising i probably had the profile set wrong i changed the icc profile to "coated paper" as i use 140gsm hi-res matte coated paper but since using this profile i have noticed the printer tries to print the white colour but it is more of a "off white" why does the printer do this using this profile? and apart from hiding the visible layer in "gimp" anyone know how to rectify this?, also i have noticed with icc profile set as bright white paper the printer printed faster but had some print quality issues set on productivity but since using coated paper profile it takes twice as long to print the same job, but on a bonus it prints flawlessly and no paper waste wich is always good! does the slower print speed mean it is using more ink?

thanks in advance for your help.
