HP Recommended

I have spent several hours on the 15th and today with a support agent trying to get our new printer to print.  Finally today with the agent helping we succeeded BUT I can only print one side of the page.  I need to be able to print both sides of the page, using 'flip long edge' but the setting I was given won't cooperate and if I go to hp smart it won't print at all.  What can I do?
