setup printer today . I used it to print ... later I went online to create a document never printed, just gives the option to save. I have tried everything with no luck. Brand new hp M140w inkjet printer on my wifi connection with Chromebook.

We appreciate the opportunity to assist you and are glad we could help work toward a resolution. We hope our support has been valuable.

 

To help us get started on resolving your issue, could you please send us an image of the printer if it is showing any error codes or if there are any flashing lights on the control panel of the printer?

Also, could you please check if both the printer and the Chromebook are connected to the same network?

In the meantime, please try power cycling (hard reset) the printer.
 

Perform a Hard Reset

  • Turn on the printer if it isn’t already powered on.
  • While it is on, disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.
  • Unplug the other end from the wall outlet or power source.
  • Wait for at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the cord back directly into a wall outlet (avoid using surge protectors or extension cords).
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
  • If it doesn’t power on automatically, press the Power button to start it.
