Posting this for the community because every time I switch laptops, this thing is a pain in the butt.

Here's everything you need to make your Poly Lens Poly Studio P21 monitor work: 

 

DisplayLink Manager is imperative. This is native to Windows or available in the MS app store. Mac users will need to download a compatible version for Mac. 

 

Windows users need to update to latest DisplayLink Manager Drivers here : Windows Driver Downloads for Downloads Section | Synaptics

 

Mac users, same thing here: DisplayLink macOS Software for Downloads Section | Synaptics

 

PolyLens Download : Poly Lens

App: Poly Lens Device Management App | HP® Official Site

After everything is installed, plug in the USB and you are good to go. You can use the app to modify the settings on the video (but they're not very good. Better off modifying in Teams, Zoom, or whatever video conferencing you're using.)
