I've recently upgraded my laptop with Windows 7, and am having a hard time tracking down a couple drivers. I have 2 items in the device manager, with similar hardware ID's. If anyone can point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated!

I didn't write which model You've got so You will have to find this drivers on Your own on HP sites. Don't worry it's easy. Smiley Happy

How to do it? All informations below:

 

1. Click on Support & Drivers link. (Upper part of this page.)

 

2. Choose option: Download drivers and software (and firmware)

 

3. In form:

Enter a product name / number

For product

 

provide Your p/n number. (How to find correct p/n informations here.)

 

4. Click on Go and choose Your correct system.

 

If You will have still any problems write about them here and post Your p/n too.

Can you please show me exactly where the PCI Simple Communication Controller is in the driver/firmware page. If it is there, it must be under a different name because I cannot find that or the PCI Serial Port driver.

 

I have updated drivers from HP for years, literally all of them but I have not been able to get these two drivers. My model is a 6930p. Which one of these categories has the PCI Simple Communication Controller driver?

I use XP 32bits on Notebook G62. I have an error with following PCI Controller :

I instaled win xp on my new pc HP Compaq  Pro 6300 Microtower. I have problems with instaling some drivers.

 

I can't can't and can't find drivers for PCI Serial Port and PCI Simple Communications Controller.
