I'm i the same boat and about to send the laptop back. The whole reason I bought the HP pavilion 13 in was so my kid could draw on it and use it for school. I bought a wacom pen that i THOUGHT was compatible, but turns out the $70 beauty was only good for the 14 inch. Why? Who knows. So, I bought the HP active stylus which HPs site says is compatible. My kid busts it out of the box, plops in the battery..Nothing...I've spent HOURS on this and still can't get the stupid pen to work.
Help is appreciated.....

That is not true, pens support all machines which support suitable pens. I don't know what is your machine, please check the following list to select a right one.

If your machine is not on the list, come back later for more updates
Regards.

This is what it says on my order form. HP Pavilion x360 -13t Touch Laptop. This list says HP Pavilion 13, so I am not sure WHAT the problem is. All I know is I can't get the bamboo ink nor this active stylus to work. The pen feature was why I bought this one to begin with....maybe I should have stuck to the MS surface...i've spent HOURS on this...
