Pavilion 15
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have recently installed the HP Support Assistant which I am pleased with.
I do not want the icon that it has added to my taskbar and cannot find how to prevent it

I can right click and remove the HP SA toolbar but I do not want to do this everytime my laptop opens.
Please advise how I can achieve this
Thank you

Hi,

Try the following.

Launch HP Support Assistant.

Click on the Settings cog towards the top right.

In the following panel, remove the checkmark against 'Display an icon in the Taskbar'  ( see the highlighted option in the image below ) and then click the Save button.

Many thanks - I had tried the settings but the scroll bar was almost invisible and I missed it - could do with being wider!

Hi, how can you set this to off in the registry?
