Hi there,
I have an HP 655 notebook and I recently had to reinstall Windows, which meant I lost several drivers. I tried the Ralink wi-fi drivers from this very site and they crashed the system. Could you please send me the link to the correct drivers?
Here is the hardware ID:
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_5229&SUBSYS_1885103C&REV_01
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_5229&SUBSYS_1885103C
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_5229&CC_FF0000
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_5229&CC_FF00
Big thanks.

That's not the same thing, is it?
Hi,
No, not the same thing. The first one is for the card reader. It solved problem of the card reader on your machine.
Regards.

Hmm they didn't work. In fact they seem to have removed the PCI device from the list of hardware. I hope that doesn't create a problem. Maybe this is the id you needed.
PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_0032&SUBSYS_1838103C&REV_01
PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_0032&SUBSYS_1838103C
PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_0032&CC_028000
PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_0032&CC_0280
That's not the same thing, is it?

Hi:
You want the PCI device to disappear. Now your card reader will work if you need it.
Below is the link to the wireless card driver you need...it is missing from the HP 655 support and driver page, so I took this one from the HP 650 which is the same model as yours except it has an Intel processor and chipset.
