on boot: HDD failure

 

Analysis:

1)Reboot

2) F2

3) "hard disk check"

4) "Quick check"

 

received : "Starting hard disk check"

10 seconds

received: "SHORT DST: "NOT INSTALLED", SMART CHECK: "NOT INSTALL"

 

Trying to determine root cause:

 

HDD or HDC/main board?
