Hp Stream 11-d010nr
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Problem: Touchpad does not work.

My HP Stream 11 was acting a bit off after the Windows 10 upgrade, so I finally got around to do a clean install with Windows 10.

Everything works great now except the touchpad does not work at all.

Things that I've tried and other information:

- I have Google'd quite a bit and tried a lot of different 'solutions' on the threads I could find, none of which have worked. Most of the solutions are a bit older when W10 was still a preview and drivers were not available on the hp website like they are now.

- I have Model 11-d010nr and I installed all of the available drivers from the hp website, including the touchpad drivers that are listed.

- Windows Update installed "Synaptics - Pointing Drawing - Synaptics HID Device - Synaptics Pointing Drawing software update released in July, 2015" with no change.

- There are no unknown devices in device manager.

- There are no "Mice and other pointing devices" listed under device manager besides my logitech mouse I have plugged in.

- 'Synaptics' is not listed anywhere under programs. Even after trying 4 different synaptics driver/software installation files that proceeded through installation and said 'complete'. There is a folder labeled 'Synaptics' with the following subfolder "C:\Program Files\Synaptics\SynTP" but just two .ini files inside.

- Tried drivers from Synaptics site, no change.

It seems like the touchpad doesn't even exist in the computer hardware. So I can't uninstall a bad/incorrect driver for it, can't see that it doesn't even have a driver, etc.

Thanks in advance, really need the touchpad!
