Hi,
My laptop in question is a HP Elitebook 8440p
Just upgraded to Windows 10 Pro x64, and I've managed to find drivers for all but one device.
Under >
> Sound, video and game controllers
- "High Definition Audio Device"
It has a Hardware ID of:
HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_8086&DEV_2804&SUBSYS_80860101&REV_1000
I've already tried installing:
- IDT Audio Drivers
- LSI High-Definition Audio (HDA) Modem
- Intel Chipset Installation Utility
None of the above has gotten rid of the yellow exclamation mark off the device under the device manager view.
I had a few other devices where Win 10 didn't install by default, and for those Win 7 drivers seems to work fine, so I'm assuming the same will be true with the one above - I just need to know what to install...
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
