When booting my Elite x2, the system starts with the HP Drive Encryption. I have several options to login:
- Using fingerprint (works and is reported correct)
- Password (works and is reported correct)
- Spare key with three secret questions (works and is reported correct)
But ultimately, neither of the three options makes the system boot. The error I see is:
TPM authentication failed (0xb0000121)
So, after a month of functioning well, the device now suddenly is 'dead' and I can't do anything with it.
Apart from being a businessmodel, I don't understand what went wrong here and how it is possible for a device that should be reliable....
Anyone who can give me a clue?
