Okay so I recently purchased a new HP desktop and monitor, but the cord that connects from the monitor to the computer (I think this is called a vga?) doesn't fit or I guess isn't compatible.
The Desktop I ordered is a HP ENVY 750 Desktop PC P5Q80AV#ABA_1
This is what the back of it looks like and I'm assuming the circled part is where I would plug the monitor cord into the computer?
The Monitor is a HP Pavilion 23xw 23-inch IPS LED Backlit Monitor J7Y75AA#ABA
This is the cord
Am I missing something here, or do I need to return this and purchase a different monitor? Or can I get something else that will connect the monitor to the computer?
I apologize if this sounds dumb, I'm just not tech savy at all.
